Eight years at Homhero, from 2018 to 2026, with Homtrust as my last project there. Alongside them, client work through my own consultancy.
Trust accounting SaaS platform
My last project at Homhero. Multi-tenant platform that Australian agencies use to hold and account for client money (rent, bonds and sale proceeds) in regulated trust accounts.
- Domain-driven GraphQL API on schema-per-enterprise PostgreSQL, with ledger posting, bank feeds and reporting running asynchronously on AWS.
- Owned the double-entry ledger, with ACID online mutations and dedicated ledger processors with dead-letter handling.
- Idempotency keys and unique constraints so a double-submit or crash can never double-debit a ledger.
- CDR / Open Banking bank feeds with per-account consent and automated reconciliation.

Property & channel management platform
Platform for professional holiday-rental managers across Australia and New Zealand: reservations, OTA distribution, portals, field apps and payments.
- Designed the serverless platform (DynamoDB, Lambda, EventBridge, CDK) while the legacy PHP system stayed live.
- Channel integrations with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia, Google Hotels and Marriott.
- Shaped Hompay: tokenised cards, a separate PCI vault and multiple Australian gateways behind one interface.
- Set the rebuild path to a TypeScript NestJS engine; error reporting cut reported bugs by 50%.

Consulting engagements
My own consultancy: architecture, AI workflow design and delivery for clients. I ran it alongside employed roles until 2026; it is now my full-time work.
- Mapped client workflows into delivery designs and integrated AI into them.
- Connected systems through Xero, WorkflowMax, PayPal, Zoho, Google and Apple APIs.
- Built APIs, web and mobile applications scoped with domain-driven design.
